Established in 1970 by Tricia Guild, Designers Guild designs and wholesales furnishing fabrics, wallcoverings, upholstery and bed and bath collections throughout Europe and worldwide.
The Company is headed by Tricia Guild, Founder and Creative Director, and Simon Jeffreys, Group Chief Executive. The Designers Guild business philosophy is to combine creativity and innovation with the highest levels of quality: quality of design, product, service and people.
Our use of natural materials has increased and we are proud that ll our pieces are handmade in England. We have sourced the best materials and veneers, together with nickel trims and details and we have used them in new and origianl combinations always with emphasis on design and quality. Reasonable options as to dimensions, materials, colour and finishes are offered giving the closest bespoke service as is practicable.
Extensive investment is made each year in new product. The studio, headed by Tricia Guild, has produced designs from such diverse inspiration as Eastern decorative art, Italian architecture and classical documents. The studio also works with outside artists and successful associations include Kaffe Fassett, Janice Tchalenko, Howard Hodgkin and Michael Heindorff.

Our own flagship showroom and homestore are in the Kings Road in Chelsea, London. The showroom, at 277 Kings Road, has the complete collection of fabrics, wallpapers and paint on display. The homestore, at 267 Kings Road, is a wonderful showcase of contemporary design with our own bedlinen, blankets, throws, towels, cushions, accessories and upholstery, as well as distinctive modern furniture, clothes, ceramics, tableware, jewellery, books and a cappuccino bar.
