David Linley began his business in 1985, designing and manufacturing furniture of the highest quality.
The company now enjoys prominence as both a retail and bespoke business specialising in furniture, upholstery, lighting and accessories of an outstanding quality.
LINLEY has become known for its imaginative use of wood in the design of furniture, and in particular marquetry. Woods used range from the more traditional walnut and sycamore to bold and exotic Macassar ebony. All products are made in Britain to exacting standards using both traditional and modern techniques of craftsmanship.
Over the years, the company has built up both a national and international presence with past commissions ranging from modest domestic pieces to prestigious projects such as the boardroom table at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the entrance lobby to LondonÃŒs Savoy Hotel. LINLEY has also made furniture for yachts (Lady Moura, Savannah and Phocea) and worked on corporate projects for Credit Suisse, BP and Polygram.
Other clients include Mick Jagger, Elton John and many exceptional designers such as Peter Marino, David Easton, Nina Campbell, Kelly Hoppen and David Mlinaric.
Take a look at the LINLEY website, where you can see an enticing array of furniture, upholstery and accessories, or discover them for yourself by visiting the London shop at 60 Pimlico Road.
