Madison Young is a flourishing new entrant in the bespoke footwear market. Established in August 2002 by former international corporate traveller, Christine Young.
Madison Young's collaborations to date include supplying apartment shoes to accessory designers Alice & Astrid for their Spring/Summer 2004 collections and providing exclusive designs to leading UK department stores.
Inspired by her travels, particularly in the Far East and the USA, Christine sought the perfect, stylish and comfortable shoe to meet the demands of international business travel, i.e., from airport, to hotel, to dinner.
Leaving the corporate world behind her, Christine began researching an innovative new concept, the apartment shoe. The embodiment of the style and comfort she had imagine, inspired by the richness of her travels, captured in the 'East meets West' blend of New York's Upper East Side chic with an exquisite oriental femininity.
